Default Europe not trying its hard enough?

Hmm..
I think its been a week since Europe had favor.
They have been getting really close sometimes.
Just wondering if we are backing off on trying to get the favor?

The Amercian and Korean always hogs the favor and for Europe hardly any. The current favor system simply "does not" work. It is for unfair for the people who plays on the european server like myself. I've been getting quite paranoid with Europe and it not getting favor often enough, even if it did get favor it'll only last about. If we're lucky when korean and amercian necking for favor then 2 to 3hrs at max. Then don't expect the next few days for favor. I think my last entry to underworld was sunday or was it monday of this week.

That was a stupid comment Nash.

But i think Europes players aren`t as "committed" as Koreans and Americans.

It wasn't stupid at all.

Consider the following:
Europe never has favor.
America has favor often.
You want to play in areas that require favor.
You can switch to America.

What is the smart thing to do?

meh, i switched to the american server, on the simple principle that there are more people there, and therefore the chances of finding the class you need is somewhat higher. Twas amazing to go into team arenas and find it flodded with 'mo healer lfg', whereas in good old europe there would just be maybe an ele stood huddled in the corner hoping you wouldnt talk to him.

Went on the us servers briefly, didn't like it (ppl generally more abusive, ect) went back. Funny thing is, although I don't really consider myself European leaving for an easy life on the US servers just feels.....wrong.

I dont think u should really swap to America becaus if everyone does then there is no way that Europe will ever win favor.

Thta's some of the problem; asome of the so-called 'hardcore' players decide that the American server is a a better place to play and so move there, leaving Europe with less players. Korean players are by farthe most dedicated; S. Korea has a population of 48 million people, yet they can compete easily against the US with 300 million people and Europe, who have even more.

So no, Europe aren't trying as hard as they should.

^^ whats population got to do with it???

you need about 5 teams of high quality and thats about it. Everything after that is mush. If youve got that many teams, you should hold the favour whenever your awake.

Well, they can do some sort of auto balance program. Here is a simple example - the more time you have not win the favor of the gods - the less wins you have to do. The min ammount can be around 2 wins and the maximum 8. For example America take the favor from Korea with 5 wins, then Korea from America with X wins and then America have to win 6 times to get the favor (not 5)...if America does not get favor for 12 hours then the limit goes down to 5 and so on. If you win your limit goes with 1 up.

There can be done nomerous such automated balance things. This was the simplest one.

The WaW system is dieing. The lesser europ gains the favor the more people switch to the US servers. The more people switch the lesser we win.....

How do you switch servers? I want to go over to Korea.
POP deals a lot with winning favor, you have more pool of people and much better chance to have better players. Kind of like a million trying out for basket ball team, after tryouts you expect that team to be best. I've seen Europe get favor couple times, dunno why you think they havent gotten favor in a week or so.

no it`s not a week that europe had favor

and atm many european countries have holidays so people are on vacation.

... and it´s summer. sane people play less and spend their time out and at the beach instead in front of a monitor

but since i don´t care about favor i just have fun as usual in in tombs and gvg on euro server .

Hmpf. Call Nash's comment stupid, but if you really want to play in the UW/FoW regularly then you can better switch to the American servers.

I did that for two obvious reasons:
- Favor
- Everybody speaks English

And I've met a lot of European, and even Dutch, players on the American servers. Don't hesitate, you and your guild should move!

It may be a smart idea to move to America, but we shouldn't have to in the first place, people in Europe are effectivly being penalized for not living in America or Korea.
But the thing is that I doubt the system will EVER change, it would probably take allot of effort and difficulty to change it to a more balanced system, plus MANY MANY people, mostly in America and Korea probably would got nuts.
The only thing Europe can do is "do better"......

Maybe it's not known for players on american an korean servers, but ANet did european players no favor in splitting it up in different language districts.
It's splittet in english, french, german, spanish and italian districts, so especially italian and spanish districts are almost empty. The ANet supports suggest to switch to english districts, which isn't helpful at all. Many players like me usually switch to the english districts to find groups at all and my opinion is that you find better groups in that district. But more than once I really thought of a switch to an american server to get rid of those limitations. Many already did.

I don't know who had the idea at ANet and why, but instead of the usually community driven development and this was a change which "killed" the whole european game experience without need. There were better solutions suggested but ignored.
